Model: SX4

Released: Feb 2010

Suzuki is expected to launch an updated SX4 sedan and hatch range early in 2010. The revised front-drive SX4 sedan and AWD hatch are likely to include a new front bumper, grille, headlamps and wheel trim. The interior trim and specification are also expected to be upgraded.

Make: Lamborghini

Model: Murcielago - LP670-4 Super Veloce

Released: Feb 2010

Lamborghini is expected to launch its Murcielago LP670-4 Super Veloce in February, with its 6.5-litre V12 producing up to 500kW (670hp) while cutting weight by 100kg. Expect the AWD Lambo flagship to command a circa-$850,000 pricetag, with up to just four headed Down Under from 350 globally.

Model: 911 - Turbo range

Released: Feb 2010

Porsche will unveil a midlife makeover of its flagship sportscar, the 911 Turbo, at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, before it goes on sale in Australia in early 2010. The new bigger 368kW 3.8 litre engine produces 18 per cent less CO2 emissions – than a model already widely regarded as the benchmark in its class

Make: BMW

Model: 5 Series - Gran Turismo

Released: Feb 2010

BMW has blurred the lines between limousine and luxury SUV with the 5 Series Gran Turismo to be launched locally in February 2010. It will be available with three of BMW’s latest turbocharged, direct-injection petrol and diesel engines, each mated to BMW’s new ZF-developed eight-speed automatic transmission.

Make: Peugeot

Model: 207

Released: Feb 2010

Peugeot is expected to launch a crossover version of the its light-sized wagon, dubbed the 207 Touring Outdoor Edition in early 2010. The unique 207 retains its front-wheel drive configuration, but offers increased ride height and body-side cladding.

Make: Toyota

Model: Camry - Hybrid

Released: Feb 2010

Toyota Australia will produce a petrol-electric version of the Camry locally from early 2010. The Camry Hybrid will be almost identical to the US version, which combines a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor that draws current from a generator and a bank of nickel-metal hydride batteries.

Make: Nissan

Model: 370Z - Roadster

Released: Feb 2010

Nissan is expected to launch its redesigned 370Z convertible in early 2010. Powered by a 247kW/366Nm 3.7-litre DOHC V6, via an improved six-speed manual or new seven-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. The 370Z convertible will ride on a shorter wheelbase and be wrapped in evolutionary styling.

Make: Hyundai

Model: ix35

Released: Feb 2010

Hyundai’s German-designed ix35 range will be positioned higher than the Tucson when launched in early 2010. The front-drive version is expected to be powered by a 115kW 2.0-litre petrol engine. The all-wheel drive ix35 is powered by a 2.4-litre petrol four, with the option of a 135kW 2.0-litre R-series turbo-diesel.
