After a few false starts, the electrified Qashqai e-Power Ti is now confirmed for arrival this month. Using Nissan’s petrol-electric hybrid powertrain, like the X-Trail e-Power, the Qashqai features a three-cylinder petrol-electric arrangement outputting 140kW/330Nm. Claimed combined range is listed at 1058km.

Another possibility this month, the Qashqai e-Power uses Nissan’s clever petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a three-cylinder ICE engine functioning solely as a generator. Total outputs are 140kW/330Nm to achieve a claimed 1058km range. It is available only in high spec Ti grade.

All 100 examples were sold within an hour of being made available to order. However, the hi-po, nine-speed auto-only Z-car is “dream worthy” with special equipment, body and track enhancements, and more power from its twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 rated at 313kW and 531Nm.

Modified by Premcar, the Patrol Warrior sports black 18-inch wheels, Yokohama A/T tyres, wider flares and a side-exit bi-modal exhaust. It also scores uprated 4x4 suspension and protection elements, blacked-out body trim, Alcantara upholstery, and Nissan’s 298kW petrol V8.

A bigger, safer, better-equipped new generation small SUV that shares underpinnings with  the larger X-Trail. Priced from $33,890 + ORC. Offers more power and torque and improved fuel economy from a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine and CVT.

Full refresh of the seven or eight-seat large SUV with a harder off road edge, priced from $54,190 plus ORC. Comes only with a 202kW/340Nm 3.5L petrol V6 and nine-speed auto in front- or all-wheel drive guises.

New-generation small SUV priced from $33,890 + ORC packs more power, tech and safety into its larger and more stylish shell. Has a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine and CVT auto with hybrid due later.

The 2023 Leaf electric car is priced from $50,990 plus ORCs, around $1000 more than previous model. It offers revised frontal styling, a new wheel design and additional technology including an exterior sound projection pedestrian alert.

Plenty of info’ is circulating on new Z built on 370Z’s platform with a 298kW, turbo 3.0-litre, twin turbo, petrol Infinity V6. Whooshdah. Apparently more a cruiser than a scalpel.  From $72,600.

Nissan Z will launch this month though no firm date has been announced. Has 3.0-litre, 298kW, V6 twin turbo engine from Infiniti… should make it a cracker. $73,300 +ORC.

Now priced from $82,160 (plus on-road costs), the MY22 Patrol upper large SUV features a mildly updated look (limited to a revised grille, new frontal emblem and reshaped fender vents).

Priced from $67,490 plus on-roads, the new pumped-up Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior is out for Raptor blood.

Here with a bigger battery and bigger pricetag, the Nissan Leaf e+ boasts more power and an increased range over the standard versions.

Nissan has added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard across its soon to be replaced X-Trail range for the 2021 model year.

Nissan has treated its Navara workhorse to a facelift for 2021 and released initial driveaway pricing for at least part of the range, with the SL cab-chassis 4x2 able to be had from $32,990 for ABN holders.

Nissan Australia’s third high-performance Nismo model has finally been confirmed as the Juke small SUV, which will sit alongside the tuned 370Z and GT-R sportscars from October.

Nissan will release two new special-edition Navara pick-ups, dubbed Black Edition and Silverline, featuring a number of upgrades above-and-beyond the standard Navara upon which it is based.

Nissan will complete the rollout of its Qashqai small SUV line-up with the arrival in showrooms of the flagship Ti model grade in July.

Nissan will give its D23 Navara its second major overhaul in February, with a focus on further honing suspension calibration, in the hope that it will get a sales boost that could see it return top-three best sellers alongside the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger.

The 370Z will see a minor update for 2018, with slight styling tweaks and a beefed-up gearbox. Pricing for the Nissan 370Z starts at $49,990 before on-road costs for the coupe and $60,990 for the convertible.
