Mercedes-Benz will launch a cabriolet version of its SLS AMG supercar priced from $487,500 - 19k more than its hardtop sibling. The roadster is based on the same lightweight aluminium spaceframe chassis and, with the same hand-built 420kW/650Nm 6.2-litre normally aspirated V8 engine, has equivalent 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.8 seconds and governed 317km/h v-max.

The diesel G350 is the first vehicle to be launched in Australia with Mercedes’ emissions-slashing BlueTec system. Powered by the 155kW/540Nm 3.5-litre CDI diesel engine and priced at $159,900.
