911 GTS returns to Porsche's local line-up with four variants, including the throwback Targa 4. The bruiser eschews naturally aspirated power for a 3.0-litre turbocharged flat-six with 331kW and 500Nm.

Model: Transit

Released: Jun 2017

Ford is set to add an automatic transmission to its Transit range, as well as a new 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbo-diesel engine. Equipment levels are also set to rise across the van line-up.

Skoda will make its foray into the large SUV market when it releases the long-awaited Kodiaq. The seven seater will go toe-to-toe with the Mazda CX-9, and will only be offered in one model grade, the 132TSI 4x4, from launch.

Subaru is hoping to reignite XV sales when the second-generation compact SUV arrives. Riding on an all-new platform shared with its Impreza sibling, the XV will offer an X-Mode off-road system for the first time.

Suzuki's fifth-generation Swift light car will roll out with two powertrain options – either a 1.2-litre atmo four petrol or 1.0-litre turbo-petrol triple. An all-new look inside and out contributes towards the Swift's more mature appearance.

Model: A3 - RS3 Sedan

Audi will expand its RS3 body styles to two when the sedan version arrives. It will pack the same new 2.5-litre turbo-petrol five from the ballistic TT RS, punching out 294kW and 480Nm on the way to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds.
