Model: DB11 - V8

Released: Nov 2017

Aston Martin will shoehorn a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine under the bonnet of its DB11, with Mercedes-AMG donating the 375kW/675Nm unit. Triple figures come up in four seconds flat, only 0.1s slower than its V12 big brother.

After four years in gestation, Porsche will move to introduce the Panamera Sport Turismo – a wagon version of its second-gen large liftback sedan. Redesigned from the B-pillar onwards, the new model is a stylish alternative.

Model: A3 - RS3 Sportback

Released: Nov 2017

Audi will complete the mid-life facelift for its A3 range with the arrival of the RS3 Sportback. An all-aluminium 2.5-litre turbo-petrol five will replace the old engine, with power and torque jumping to 294kW and 480Nm respectively.

Released: Nov 2017

LDV will roll out its first large SUV when the seven-seat D90 arrives. Based on the T60 one-tonner which will launch shortly afterwards, the D90 sports a conservative exterior design that parent company SAIC hopes will woo buyers.

Haval will power up its H9 large SUV, with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four uprated to 180kW/350Nm. An eight-speed automatic transmission is added, while exterior styling has been updated. Interior quality receives a lift, too.

Model: Arteon

Released: Nov 2017

Volkswagen is set to replace the retired CC with the stylish Arteon liftback sedan – which is also based on the Passat. It will be exclusively offered with a 206kW/350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four with all-wheel-drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch auto.
