Mercedes-AMG’s popular C63 S range is due for a refresh in the first quarter, with light styling changes and tweaked suspension to aid dynamics, but outputs from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 remain the same at 375kW/700Nm.

Released: Feb 2019

Audi has treated its A4 mid-sizer to a subtle update that sees a new S Line Competition package, with the Sedan and Avant wagon body styles to arrive in Australian showrooms early in 2019.

Model: A5 - RS5 Sportback

Released: Feb 2019

In the first quarter, Audi’s A5 Sportback will be made available in hi-po RS5 guise, with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 that produces 331kW/600Nm and drives all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Mercedes-Benz will complete its X-Class ute range with the arrival of two X350d variants that are motivated by a 190kW/550Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6.

Model: Macan

Released: Feb 2019

Porsche’s lightly facelifted Macan is set to enter showrooms with a 10.9-inch touchscreen now dominating inside, while a newly developed 260kW/480Nm 3.0-litre V6 debuts under the bonnet.

Model: Caddy - Beach

Released: Feb 2019

Volkswagen is set to re-enter the camper-van segment with its Caddy Beach that packs a fold-out bed, a walk-through tent, two folding camp chairs and table, and tray tables for rear passengers, among other features.

Model: Baleno

Released: Feb 2019

As part of a model-year update, Suzuki is set to drop the 82kW/160Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from its Baleno and instead opt for a naturally aspirated range.
