Model: DB11 - V8

Released: Nov 2017

Aston Martin will shoehorn a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine under the bonnet of its DB11, with Mercedes-AMG donating the 375kW/675Nm unit. Triple figures come up in four seconds flat, only 0.1s slower than its V12 big brother.

Model: F-Type - four-cylinder

Released: Nov 2017

Jaguar will introduce an entry-level four-cylinder version of its F-Type sportscar. Punching out 221kW and 400Nm from the turbocharged 2.0-litre unit, its lighter front-end helps achieve a spirited 5.7 second dash to 100km/h.

Model: 911 - GT3

Released: Nov 2017

Porsche will return the option of a six-speed manual gearbox to its track-ready 911 GT3, while retaining the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Engine capacity grows to 4.0-litres, which sees power swell to 368kW.
