Car reviews - Ford - Falcon - Fairmont Ghia V8 sedan
22 Nov 2002
INTEGRATED into the Interior Command Centre is Falcon's more efficient new dual-zone automatic climate control system, which features a standard lint filter and an optional pollen filter. It displays its major functions in the colour TFT display screen.
Designed to match the audio head unit above it, the ventilation control unit features a bank of push-buttons to control individual front temperature, fan speed, front and rear demist, ventilation direction and automatic and recirculation functions.
The system operates through six even larger dashboard vents than before - including a pair of outboard vents able to be directed individually - and offers side glass venting. Each front vent is closable and there's under-seat rear venting and upper venting for rear-seat occupants.
