Car reviews - Ford - Falcon - Futura sedan
27 Mar 2002
A REMOTE central locking system incorporates control buttons for door lock/unlock, boot/tailgate and "Panic" mode - via a separate key fob. Power front and rear windows are standard on Futura, the driver's with an auto down function. The remote control rearview mirrors are operated via a switch on the driver's door. The Futura's steering wheel is adjustable for both reach and height, and incorporates excellent audio and cruise controls. The master switch for the headlights is mounted on the right side of the instrument panel and separate map-reading lights are provided as part of the roof-mounted sunglasses holder. The variable intermittent wipers controls are located on the left-hand stalk, while an internal lock/unlock button is on the dash.
Did you know?Ford Australia's range of passenger vehicles also includes the Ka and the light-commercial Transit from Europe, Mazda-built Laser and Courier ranges, the Escape and Explorer 4WDs, Cougar and Mustang coupes from the US, and F-Series from Brazil
