THE list of standard safety features is incredibly long and includes many an acronym ABS (anti-lock braking), WHIPS (anti-whiplash seats), SIPS (side impact protection), IC (inflatable curtain) and TRACS (traction control). There are dual-stage front and side airbags for the front seat passengers while IC provides head protection for all four outboard passengers. All seats are anti-submarining, all passengers have lap-sash seatbelts with tensioners and force limiters, while front seat passengers get seatbelt height adjustment. Head restraints are standard all round.
