Car reviews - Subaru - Impreza - WRX STi sedan
22 May 2002
THE STi sticks with the same race-style bucket seats used in the regular WRX, although they have been extensively re-trimmed. The inset sections are finished in blue, perforated alcantara (fake suede) trim and feature an embroidered pink STi logo on the top part of the backrest. The blue trim is also used on the rear seats (outer positions) as well as the door inserts. The driver's seat is adjustable for height via a large ratchet lever (Subaru calls it the "Super Seat Lifter") on the right side of the seat base, but there is no adjustment for the base to be tilted independently as on the previous model.
