Car reviews - Renault - Scenic - 2.0 Dynamique
9 Aug 2001
THE Scenic security package includes an engine immobiliser with transponder and (one-stage) remote central locking with a time-delayed interior light fade function. All models feature a system that automatically locks the doors at speeds above 7km/h, providing increased security for occupants and objects placed in the luggage area. The doors unlock automatically if any of them is opened from the interior or in the event of a collision. The radio is security coded, a button to lock all doors is contained within arm's reach of the driver (on the dash fascia) and an alarm system is available as a dealer-fit accessory. Maplights are also provided for front and rear occupants, while a hard-backed parcel shelf acts as a screen for the luggage compartment.
