Retro Jeep Wrangler priced for Australia

The Jeep Wrangler Rewind arrives with 80s and 90s cues and a price tag of $73,990 + ORC

4 Jun 2026

JEEP has introduced a new 80s and 90s-inspired Wrangler Rewind limited edition, with its limited run of 50 examples available for pre-order now.

The Rewind is the production version of the one-off concept car revealed at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari in Utah.

While last year’s concept was a two-door Wrangler as opposed to a four-door and the gold-accented grille is missing from the production car, the Rewind’s retro and neon-inspired premise remains the same.

Wearing a price tag of $73,990 plus on-road costs, the Rewind arrives with retro additions both inside and out.

This pricing makes the Rewind model cheaper than the entry-level two-door Wrangler Rubicon, which is priced at $81,990 + ORCs and the base four-door model at $84,990 + ORCs.

Outside it receives 17-inch gold accent wheels, multi-coloured decals, a Rewind-dedicated soft spare tyre cover, body-coloured fender flares, a body-coloured three-piece hard top, and bronze Jeep and Trail Rated badging.

The Rewind also receives complimentary premium paint, with colour choices including Bright White, Black Granite Crystal, and the Reign (purple) hero colour.

Inside it gets an 8-bit inspired shifter medallion, swing gate and embossed Nappa leather seat graphics as well as iced blue and plum accent stitching on the seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and other interior trim.

The rest of its interior features include eight-way power adjustable front seats with four-way lumbar, heated front seats, a Technoleather-wrapped heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and an eight-speaker sound system.

Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, rear cross path detection, front and rear park assist, a reversing camera, trailer sway control, and blind spot monitoring.

Like its non-limited-edition stablemates, the Wrangler Rewind’s on-demand 4x4 powertrain comprises a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine – producing 200kW and 400Nm – and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

It also retains the regular Wrangler’s off-road features including heavy-duty front and rear axles, a two-speed transfer case, and skid plates for the transmission, fuel tank and transfer case, heavy duty rock sliders with step assist, along with its removable doors and roof, and foldable windscreen.

It isn’t the only limited-edition Wrangler Jeep has introduced in Australia this year, confirming the 85th Anniversary Edition Wrangler for a local launch back in February, priced at $88,490 + ORCs.
