VS II Statesman and Caprice

VS II update saw further slight trim modifications, rounded side indicator marker and improved equipment levels – such as an upgraded audio system. Larger alloy wheels (now 16”) were fitted.

In October ’96 a 165kW supercharged 3.8L V6 became available, while the regular 5.0L V8’s power output inched up to 168kW.

The second Statesman International limited edition arrived in February ’97, but only in supercharged V6 and 168kW 5.0L V8 formats.
