Holden EpicaEpica1 Apr 2007 Holden's New Epica is the replacement to the ailing Vectra model range. Primarily targeting buyers of Toyota’s top-selling 2.4-litre Camry. Powered exclusively by Euro IV emissions-compliant inline six-cylinder engines, the Epica range opens with the 105kW/195Nm 2.0-litre CDX five-speed manual only model. Also available mated exclusively to a five-speed auto is a 115kW/237Nm 2.5-litre engine. The 2.5-litre CDXi auto is the Epica flagship, which is available with optional leather trim, comes standard with side curtain airbags, climate-control, two extra speakers, a six-CD stacker, electronic information display, a leather-clad steering wheel/gearshift, foglights, sports bodykit and 17-inch alloys (still with a 15-inch steel spare). All models come standard with twin front and front side airbags, ABS, traction control, air-conditioning, cruise control, four power windows, a six-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 player and 16-inch alloy wheels. Metallic paint is standard on the CDXi, but optional on the rest of the range. The official ADR 81/01 fuel consumption is stated at 8.2L/100km for the (CDX) 2.0-litre manual and 9.3L/100km for the (CDX/i) 2.5-litre auto. Read moreWhen it was new |
