Mazda MPV

LWA2 MPV

1 Jun 2002

A larger and more powerful V6 engine (up from a 2.5 litre to a 152kW/271Nm 3.0-litre unit), and a new five-speed automatic gearbox were the main changes to the facelifted MPV range.

A redesigned grille, headlights, bumpers and taillights, new look alloy wheels and the standard fitment of roof racks and fog lights completed the exterior differences.

Revised seat material and cabin trim, a new audio system featuring steering wheel mounted controls and a collapsible table between the front seats could be found inside.

Mazda improved the side door opening effort, added more cabin grab handles, fitted more sound deadening, beefed up and retuned the suspension for improved handling and ride and improved the brake performance of its latest MPV.
