UF Nimbus

The second generation Nimbus was altogether a bigger (220mm longer, 55mm wider and over 50mm taller) and better car, with cabin space being the big benefactor of a 95mm wheelbase stretch.

More seating configurations were added, along with a larger four-cylinder engine – an 88kW/187Nm 2.4-litre motor coupled to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox.

Refinement and equipment levels also rose, along with safety attributes and dynamic abilities. The UF’s seats also increased in size for comfort.
