First look: Chrysler’s 300C gets s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d!

Big stretch: Presidential's nine-metre 300C will soon grace Melbourne roads.

Melbourne company creates Australia’s first 300C limo, and it’s nine metres l-o-n-g!

8 May 2006

AUSTRALIA’S first stretched 300C limousine is a reality, but it’s not the product of DaimlerChrysler.

Rather, Aussie know-how is behind the nine-metre-long behemoth, which is claimed to seat 10 people in comfort and cost about $170,000 to produce. The super-300C was created by Melbourne limo builder Presidential Coachbuilders and will become a mobile demonstration of its handiwork.

The same company was also responsible for the wacky Territory limousine that appeared from its Melbourne skunkworks late last year.
