New models - Polestar - 4Unchanged pricing on MY26 Polestar 4Polestar holds strong on Australian pricing for updated ‘4’ coupe-SUV line-up9 Oct 2025 POLESTAR has announced an updated ‘4’ coupe-SUV for 2026, but in a refreshing move the electric vehicle specialist has left pricing unchanged, as well as reducing the price of certain optional extras.
The two-variant Polestar 4 line-up comprises the Long Range Single Motor ($78,500 before on-road costs) and Long Range Dual Motor ($88,350 + ORC), both of which receive minor updates including new physical buttons on the steering wheel to replace the polarising touch-sensitive controls.
In addition to maintaining pricing, Polestarhas reduced the price of its Electrochromic glass roof option to $2200 (down from $2700) and Bridge of Weir leather pack to $6100 (down from $7000).
The company has, however, removed its illuminated front logo, interior illumination and net pockets in the boot from the standard inclusion list, with owners now having to purchase the $8000 Plus pack to receive these features.
Both Polestar 4 variants remain virtually identical under the skin, riding on the same Geely-sourced Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), and sharing the dimensions of MY25 models at 4840mm long, 2139mm wide and 1534mm high.
The Long Range Single Motor is powered by the same single rear-mounted electric drive unit as previously, producing 200kW/343Nm, offering a WLTP range of 620km and claimed 0-100km/h time of 7.1 seconds.
Stepping up to the Dual Motor Long Range, the 400kW/686Nm powertrain is retained for a WLTP range of 590km and 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.8 seconds.
Both versions use a 100kWh battery, which can be charged at up to 200kW using DC and 11kW using standard AC, complete with a heat pump that pre-conditions the system for optimal charging temperatures.
For buyers wanting even more performance, the Long Range Dual Motor model can be equipped with the optional Performance pack, which adds 22-inch wheels with stickier tyres, suspension upgrades and Brembo brakes.
Inside, the Polestar 4 remains suitably well-equipped with a Snapdragon-based infotainment system running through a 15.4-inch landscape-oriented display, with Harman Kardon speakers providing the noise.
The updated models retain their five-stay ANCAP rating, which carries over from previous testing by Euro NCAP.
