International Automobile Exhibition Bologna

Italian stallion: The Ferrari 599XX track day weapon was unveiled publicly in Bologna.

A dose of Italian style greets those who attend the Bologna show

SITTING in the shadows of the massive Tokyo motor show, it’s easy to lose track of the International Automobile Exhibition in Bologna, Italy.

But this Italian trade show is the only Italian expo dedicated to the international market, and what it lacks in sheer size it makes up for in Italian glamour.

Notable debuts have included the track-oriented Fiat Abarth 695 Assetto Corse and the hardcore Ferrari 599XX circuit car.

Most major manufacturers were present, with recently-revealed concepts and new production vehicles – most of which we’ve seen before at previous European shows like Frankfurt and Geneva.
