UCF30R (Mk3 Series II) LS 430

A minor facelift hid some worthwhile engineering upgrades, including a six-speed automatic gearbox, improved headlights with a cornering ability, pioneering knee-airbag safety and adaptive cruise control.

Taking a leaf out of the original LS 400 motto, Lexus packed in the features – including a Bluetooth mobile phone installation and camera-enhanced parking radar, a rear sunshade, reclinable and massaging rear seats and improved interior illumination.

Upgraded satellite navigation, high-end audio and airbag systems were also built in.

The ’04 model year LS 430 is identifiable from its larger alloy wheels, revised nose treatment, redesigned tail-lights, bumpers and rear garnish and updated instrumentation.

The LS 430 soldiered on until the all-new LS 460 model arrived in the last quarter of 2006.
