Ford Credit chief to retire
With strong links to Australia, top Ford finance exec Silverstone prepares to retire

- Long-time Ford Motor Company finance executive and one-time managing director of Ford Credit Australia, Bernard Silverstone, will retire on October 1 after 37 years of service.
- Currently chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Credit Company and a group vice-president of FoMoCo, Mr Silverstone, 60, has held a wide range of senior positions over almost four decades as he worked his way up to the top ranks of the US automotive giant.
