News - LamborghiniLamborghini posts back-to-back sales recordSecond consecutive sales record for Italian supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini22 Jan 2026 SOME good news for a change at Volkswagen Group (Audi) with Automobili Lamborghini setting a new sales record for 2025, despite headwinds.
In doing so, the Sant’Agata, Italy-based company continued a growth trajectory delivering a best ever 10,747 vehicles globally.
Sales Down Under remained static at 272 units for the year comprising 154 Urus SUVs and 118 Revuelto and Huracan (in run-out) sportscars.
Lamborghini currently produces the twin-turbo V8 PHEV Temerario, the Urus SUV powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine, and the Revuelto sports car, a V12 hybrid.
Additionally, the company produces V12 engines for offshore powerboat racing.
The Temerario arrives this month marking the start of customer deliveries after breaking cover 18 months ago with and an order book already covering approximately twelve months.
The original tractor manufacturing plant, Lamborghini Trattori (not part of the VW Group), continues to produce high quality tractors.
It’s the second consecutive year Lamborghini sales have surpassed the 10,000 mark indicating a strong response to the model line-up underscored by the brand’s hybridisation strategy which “has been met with enthusiasm by Lamborghini customers across the globe”.
“Despite challenging market conditions, we are very proud of the results achieved in 2025, which confirm Lamborghini’s ability to stand out even in a complex global environment,” said Automobili Lamborghini chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
“The performance recorded reflects our capacity to interpret market dynamics and to make strategic choices that respond concretely to our customers’ expectations.
“This approach does not aim for peaks in volumes but allows us to consolidate the results achieved following the growth of recent years.”
The 2025 results remained solid across all three macro-regions with EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) continuing to be Lamborghini’s leading market with 4650 deliveries.
The Americas followed, closing the year with 3347 units while the Asia Pacific (APAC) region recorded 2750 sales.
“2025 was marked by significant geopolitical and macroeconomic turbulence, resulting in differing dynamics across the markets in which we operate,” said Automobili Lamborghini chief marketing and sales officer Federico Foschini.
“By pursuing a carefully defined strategy based on brand-strengthening activities, the offering of highly competitive products and a distribution approach designed to preserve the exclusivity of the range, Lamborghini was able to achieve strong results.
“This was also made possible thanks to the fundamental contribution of our dealer network, which worked in close collaboration with our regional teams.”
2025 marked the appearance at Goodwood Festival of Speed of Lamborghini’s Temerario GT3 – the first racing derivative of the Temerario project designed for customer teams and set to debut in major global GT3 championships in 2026.
It is also the first race car to be entirely conceived, developed and built by Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
And in August, as part of the Monterey Car Week, Lamborghini revealed Fenomeno, a limited series of just 29 examples equipped with the most powerful V12 ever developed by Lamborghini that is integrated into a hybrid architecture delivering a total output of 800kW, representing the pinnacle of the brand’s performance and engineering.
Lamborghini says the 2025 results “confirm not only the strength of Automobili Lamborghini’s strategy, but also the company’s ability to evolve while remaining true to its identity”. ![]() Read more |
