VOLVO'S V70 2.4T wagon might be a more slinky Swede, but it could never be mistaken for an Audi. The good looks are supported by traditional Volvo safety, built quality, practicality and passenger comfort. Equipment levels are high, too. The only real disappointment is that Volvo still does not appear to have sorted out its suspensions: The car transmits more noises and thumps into the passenger compartment than normally expected in this market segment.
