CAN’T make up your mind whether you want a traditional hatchback or an SUV?

Well fear not, because Volvo has the answer – sort of – with its V40 Cross Country hatch/crossover/wagon/SUV.

Marketed as the baby brother of the larger XC70 wagon (formally the V70 Cross Country), the V40 Cross Country arrived in Australia in August this year on the back of the successful V40 hatch launch.

While it might not have the go-anywhere ability of a real off-roader, the crossover styling might be enough to draws some buyers in and those who do take a closer might come away pleasantly surprised.
