Remote central locking is standard for both the sedan and wagon

The steering column is a three-part unit that moves away from the driver in a crash

Inside, the fascia and door panels have been borrowed from the C70 coupe, providing a softer look and more refined controls

Both the S70 and V70 have three-point seatbelts in all five seats, as well as head restraints for all three rear seat passengers

The 2.5-litre, light-pressure turbocharged engine is offered in the S70 and V70 2.5T

Both the S70 and V70 now feature rotating cylinders in the door locks, bootlid/tailgate and ignition system to deter thieves

An electronic engine immobiliser is standard

A wood-rimmed steering wheel and gear selector knob are optional across the range

A wood inlaid dash is standard on the 2.5T

Anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes are standard
