Have phone, will drive Volvo

- Volvo is developing a phone app that allows for keyless entry, with the company planning to start introducing the system in production cars in limited numbers in 2017, with trials beginning this year.

- The driver will only need to carry a phone with the matching app for the car, connecting via Bluetooth, which will also open the boot and allow the engine to be started remotely, as well as turning on functions such as cooling and heating remotely.
