BORA uses a power-assisted rack and pinion steering system. The leather-clad three-spoke airbag steering wheel has manual adjustment for both reach and height and is claimed to be maintenance-free. An energy-absorbing element is integrated into the upper steering column attachment point, reducing impact on the driver?s chest in the event of a serious head-on collision.
