THE Beetle's transmissions are, once again, taken straight from the VW Golf so there are no surprises or special innovations. The optional auto has an intelligent dynamic shift program (DSP) with fuzzy logic that adapts to the driving habits of the individual driver and learns to shift at the appropriate times.
