RAV4'S standard front seats offer tilt and slide functions only, while the Cruiser models gain driver's seat cushion height adjustment. Both front seats have belt pretensioners with force limiters, and are designed to lessen the load (whiplash) on an occupant's neck during a rear-end collision. The 50/50 split-fold rear seat is now on sliding rails and can tilt, tumble and be removed. Five-door models have velour seat trim, while three-door models use woven cloth trim. Moulded door trims have fabric inserts and the front doors include map pockets.
