The second-generation Prius body is all-new, the aerodynamics having improved from 0.29 in the previous model to 0.26 in the latest version. The wheelbase has been extended to 2700mm – just 20mm shorter than the Camry. Prius gets an additional window in the rear deck to improve visibility, while "privacy" rear windows also assist efficiency of air-conditioning system. A "moulded" roof surface gives a distinctively aerodynamic touch. And Prius II's petrol-electric propulsion system is more efficient.
