Prius i-Tech comes with central locking that is controlled by a "smart" card that allows the driver to unlock the vehicle without needing to press the button on the remote controller. In fact the Prius i-Tech can be entered and started without removing the card from handbag or pocket. The base model is operated by a "card" system too, but without the smart entry-start function.
