With refined operation, strong performance, excellent economy and low emissions for a small price premium of less than one per cent over equivalent V6-engined models, it is arguably the choice engine in the Prado range. The diesel joins the growing throng of four-cylinder turbo-diesels flooding the market. Another plus is that it's available with manual or automatic transmission.
