RUNNING changes to Prado models since introduction include new body mounts with thicker washers, a new pipe-type lateral control arm, a modified lower control arm bushing and a heavier transfer case dynamic damper. Side steps are a standard feature of GXL and TX Prado turbo-diesel models. Front fog lamps are standard on GXL and TX, which is identifiable by distinctive chromed grille, exterior mirrors and door handles. The TX is identified from other turbo-diesel Prados by a horizontal-slatted grille, while three-spoke alloy wheels are standard on TX.
