THE Prado follows basic medium-size 4WD design parameters with its suspension, using double wishbones with coil springs at the front and a coil-suspended live axle at the rear. The rear axle is located by five links. Stabiliser bars are used front and rear to control body lean when cornering. Running changes to Prado since launch include new front lower control arm bushing.
