FORD and Hyundai have won SUV converts by offering both two and four-wheel drive SUVs (in their Territory and Tucson models respectively) and Holden is about to enter the fray with its Captiva.

But what about Toyota? Despite Toyota boss John Conomos refusing to confirm it last week, GoAuto understands that a front-wheel drive Kluger is in the wings.

All Mr Conomos would say on the matter was: "We have an answer to that. We have an answer to that situation."
