Toyota upgrades HiLux

TOYOTA Australia has made a number of detail changes to select model variants of its market-leading HiLux one-tonne ute range.

Among them are the baseline $17,990 WorkMate, which when a new ($1550) ABS option is specified now also includes power mirrors, power door locks, fabric door trim and 15-inch wheels (up from 14-inch).

Now starting from $22,090 (up $100), mid-range SR-badged HiLux variants pick up power mirrors, while the SRs with automatic transmission (now starting $400 higher) gain cruise control.

Prices have increased slightly on all models across the 30-variant range, bar WorkMate and the 4x4 Extra-Cab Chassis turbo-diesel.
