TOYOTA claims the ninth generation Corolla improves in seat comfort, safety and style. The front seat design has been completely revised and now has varying firmness in the sides of the seatback pads and cushions to improve seat fit. The seatback design incorporates four supportive S-shaped springs designed to hold the occupant's hips and back, and therefore enhance comfort. The front seats have 240mm of fore/aft slide and a recline function that travels through two degrees for each of 25 steps. The driver's seat height adjuster has a range of 45mm. No lumbar adjustment is provided.
