COROLLA Ultima has the full complement of safety equipment with dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, front occupant pretensioning and force-limiting seatbelts, ABS brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist all fitted standard. As expected, the car was built with Toyota's Global Outstanding Assessment (GOA) body and includes the manufacturer's patented Safe-T-Cell as well as side door anti-intrusion beams. The Ultima sedan has three-point seatbelts and headrests throughout, however the centre-rear position in the hatch misses out on the former.
