THIS is it: the sports flagship of the new-generation 380N Camry range. Yet the Sportivo V6 is a flagship that Toyota Australia isn't at all interested in promoting. It would rather we all got excited about the four-cylinder version, equipped as it is with the new Australian-built 2.4-litre engine. In fact, Toyota Australia forecasts the four-cylinder will be the sales leader of the Sportivo range. Nevertheless, the V6 has more power, torque and equipment - and better claimed performance. But you pay for it, the launch price difference being a meaty $8000. Is it worth it? Read on.
