CAMRY suspension is by MacPherson struts front and rear, with an L-shaped lower arm at the front end and dual lower links at the back. A new mounting system for the front anti-roll bar has increased roll control by reducing the period of uncontrolled body movement before the stabiliser bar is activated. The changes have allowed Australian engineers to reduce spring rates and front damper compression rates, and hence improve ride comfort.
