The body features a side impact absorbing structure, with reinforced rocker panels and door surrounds and strengthened underfloor and roof crossmembers. Anti-lock brakes are optional on the CSi grade. Only Vienta models have adjustable rear head restraints. Impact absorbing pads are located in the door trims and pillars. The front seatbelt buckles are mounted on the seats and the upper anchorages are adjustable, improving the fit of the seatbelt.
