DUAL front airbags are fitted standard in XL-7. The vehicle can seat seven people in a two-three-two configuration, but the centre position in row two misses out on a three-point seatbelt and head restraint. This position also doubles as a twin armrest for outboard passengers. Storage facilities include large twin-section bins in the front doors, a recess at the base of the dash fascia, a lidded cubby on the right-hand side of the dash, lockable glovebox, front seatback pockets and a drawer underneath the front passenger's seat. Twin cupholders are in the centre console, and two more cupholders and another storage box compliment row three.
