THE XL-7's suspension comprises MacPherson struts at the front and a five-link live-axle design at the rear, both with coil springs and low-pressure gas dampers separated to allow a long suspension stroke. An anti-roll bar is provided at the front for increased stability. The suspension set-up provides an excellent 210mm of ground clearance.
