Suzuki goes driveaway

SUZUKI has announced driveaway prices for its Swift, SX4 and Grand Vitara models during the month of September.

The five-door Swift hatchback is now available for $16,990 including all dealer delivery and statutory charges, representing a $200 price premium over its regular manufacturer’s list price (MLP).

Similarly, the on-road price for the Swift Safety Pack model, which continues to add front-side and curtain airbags, is $17,690, while the Swift S this month costs $18,990 driveaway and continues to comprise alloy wheels, foglights and six airbags.

Suzuki’s range-topping light-car, the Swift Sport, is available in September for just $24,990 driveaway ($500 more than its regular MLP), and still comes with a more powerful 92kW engine, 16-inch alloys, a sports bodykit and ESP stability control.

The small SX4 sedan, meantime, can be had on the road this month for $19,990, which is actually $500 less than its MLP, while the AWD version’s prices now also include on-road costs.

Finally, Suzuki’s compact Grand Vitara SUV is now available for the driveaway price of $26,990, which represents a $1000 increase over the entry-level GV3 three-door price, while the five-door can now be driven away for as little as $31,990, which also $1000 up on its usual MLP.
