THE Grand Vitara is a tough, simple off-roader with no real ambitions other than to offer a decent amount of off-road as well as on-road ability. The off-road is taken care of by four-wheel drive mated to both high and low range gearing, while on the tar the Grand Vitara travels in two-wheel drive.
