ALL the RX's controls are designed to be accessible for the driver without leaning forward from the backrest. The centre panel is tilted forward and 30mm closer to the driver than in the second generation Liberty. Controls and switches are designed to be distinctive to the touch, so the driver does not have to take his or here eyes from the road. Intermittent wipers feature a variable dwell time. A Saab-style fold-out cupholder sits in the centre console, although it does not emerge with the Swedish version's fluidity. The steering wheel is height adjustable only.
