DUAL front airbags are standard in the RX. Lap-sash seatbelts are also standard all-round, as are headrests. The front seatbelts have electrical pretensioners and load-limiters. Torsional rigidity is increased in the latest generation Liberty to improve protection in a collision. There are two protecting beams in each front door and one in each rear door.
