SUBARU is a Japanese brand that appeals to those with a slightly deeper than normal appreciation of the innermost workings of a car. It offers levels of engineering depth unusual at this end of the market, particularly with all-wheel drive a standard feature on all models. The fourth-generation Liberty takes it all a few steps further with nicely conceived, slightly larger packaging, tasteful presentation and even more refinement that makes it better to drive and more spacious. On top of that, the latest Liberty is lighter and more aerodynamic and the engines are more powerful. The upshot is that all versions of the new Liberty are bigger, faster, more economical and cleaner-running. To ask for more would be downright greedy.
