SUBARU Australia has launched a limited-edition Impreza 2.0 Luxury model, which it claims offers more than $6300 worth of extra value for a price premium of $2000 over the base Impreza 2.0i.

Priced from $25,990, the model variant will be limited to 600 units (in white, blue and silver) and adds to the standard specification leather trim, 15-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof and rear tinted windows.

* In other Subaru news, Forester production has passed the one million mark nine years and three months after the first model was launched in December 1996.

Forester was the best-selling compact SUV in Australia last year with 12,320 sales. Sales outside Japan dominate its success, with 83.2 per cent occurring overseas.

Forester has the highest proportion of overseas sales among all Subaru models.
